V6 motore za Maserati proizvodi Chrysler / Maserati motori

Maserati Quattroporte i Ghibli koriste motore V6 koje je dizajnirao Ferrari i čije blokove je donedavno za Italijane proizvodio nemački Weber Automotive. U međuvremenu su Italijani, na krilima rastuće potražnje za Ghiblijem, povećali proizvodnju automobila, ali Weber Automotive ovo nije mogao da prati pa su u Maseratiju morali da angažuju alternativne pogone za proizvodnju motora.

 

Nekako sumnjamo da će buduće vlasnike Maseratija oduševiti podatak da motore njihovih luksuznih ljubimaca proizvodi Chrysler. Amerikanci su ovoga leta prošli Ferrarijevu obuku i trenutno proizvode 50 blokova dnevno sa tendencijom podizanja ove količine na 80 dnevno. Trolitarske aluminijumske V6-ice se zatim šalju u Maranello na sastavljanje i finalnu inspekciju pre ugradnje u Maseratijeve limuzine. Kvalitet završne obrade je navodno besprekoran, a u Chrysleru su se pohvalili da će im znanje i iskustvo stečeno na Maseratijevom V6 pomoći da unaprede kvalitet svojih standardnih motora koje proizvode za Chrysler, Jeep i Dodge.

Maserati i Ferrari već godinama sarađuju, a plod njihove saradnje se mogao videti i čuti ispod poklopca motora. Saradnja se uskoro bliži kraju, a to znači da Maseratijevi modeli više neće imati 3.0 V6 i 3.8 V8 motore. Kako javlja Automotive News Europe, Maserati će ponuditi svoje motore. Plan razvoja ide u smeru 3.0 V6 motora i 2.0 četvorocilindraša. Time će se smanjiti emisija štetnih gasova, kao i potrošnja goriva.

 

Zato će novi modeli, i to GranCabrio, GranTurismo i novi SUV imati 3.0 V6 snažan preko 520 KS. Isti izvor će dobiti i sportski MC20 sa centralno postavljenim motorom. Naravno, predviđa se i elektrifikovana verzija šestaka, a s tehničke strane poznato je da će koristiti Turbulent Jet Ignition tehnologiju iz Formule 1, a koja u bolidima omogućava podizanje efikasnosti motora na neverovatnih 50%. Četvorocilindraš 2.0 dolazi iz ponude Jeepa i Alfe u čijim modelima daje 275 KS. U Maseratijevom Ghibliju će razvijati i više, u formi 48V hibrida. Više informacija znaće se polovinom jula...

To od AN je svojevrsni fake news. Prvo nije Mahle tehnologija nego je baš Maserati. Kao drugo, to neće imati 540 KS nego ima 630 KS.

 

Kako znam da ima 630 KS? Jučer je motor službeno predstavljen:

The new Nettuno (or Neptune) engine will feature three new engine technologies for the Maserati brand. This technology was thoroughly described in an earlier MoparInsiders article. It uses both direct and port injection, twin-spark plugs, and combustion pre-chamber in addition to the regular chamber. The goal is to raise the power-level and improve fuel efficiency.

 

The pre-chamber is a combustion chamber that is set between the central electrode and the traditional combustion chamber and connected by a series of specially-designed holes. Lateral sparkplugs allow traditional sparkplugs to act as a support to ensure constant combustion when the engine is operating at a level that doesn’t need the pre-chamber to kick-in and a new twin-injection system that uses 350bar of fuel pressure, reduces noise low down on the rev range, all while lowering emissions and improving consumption.

 

This is the first time that these technologies have been adapted from Formula 1 to a production engine going into a passenger vehicle. The Nettuno is a futuristic engine produced by Maserati’s team of technicians and engineers, protected by international patents.

The other engine coming to the Maserati lineup, which hasn’t been announced yet is the very well known corporate engine, the 2.0-liter GME-T4 or Global Medium Engine – Turbo Four-Cylinder. The engine, in Maserati form, will produce around 330 horsepower and will substitute the entry-level V6 in selected cars starting with the 2021 Maserati Ghibli. This will be the first electrified Maserati powertrain, which will feature a 48-volt mild-hybrid system with belt-start generator technology. This is the same technology that made its debut on the 2019 Ram 1500 with its eTorque engine lineup. Of course for Maserati, it will receive some new functions including a new “coasting” mode.

Nettuno je novi Maseratijev motor

Maserati će na jesen predstaviti dugo očekivani superautomobil MC20, sa kojim će se italijanski brend zatim vratiti u trke. Automobil će koristiti 3.0 V6 motor sa 630 KS. Maserati je u poodmakloj fazi testiranja svog novog superautomobila MC20, čija premijera je najavljena za jesen. Do sada se, barem ne zvanično, nije pisalo o motoru za novi italijanski sportski model, a ovih dana je potvrđeno da će automobil koristiti motor nazvan Nettuno - 3.0 V6 motor sa konfiguracijom od 90 stepeni. Razvijaće 630 KS (na 7.500 obrtaja) i 730 Nm momenta (pri 3.000 obrtaja), dakle specifična snaga je 210 KS po litri zapremine.

 

Novi motor se promoviše sloganom 100% Maserati, 100% Made in Modena. To znači da je od početka do kraja dizajniran i napravljen u Maseratijevim pogonima, a nije pozajmljen od Ferrarija kao što je slučaj sa nekim aktuelnim motorima. To je revolucionarna stvar za Maserati jer vlastiti motor nisu razvili već dvadeset godina.
