Veličine bi trebale biti 7", 8.4" i 10.1" za klasični format, odnosno 10.25" i 12.3" za widescreen.

 

Procesor kod jačega bi trebao biti Intel Atom u 14nm za automobile. Kažu 5 brži nego Uconnect 4. Veličine 8.4", 10.1", 10.25" i 12.3". Proizvođač Harman. I'ma GPS modul. Zove se Uconnect 5 Plus

Verzija bez GPS je 7" i 8.4". Proizvođač Mitsubishi. Kažu 2 puta jači od sadašnjeg najjačeg Uconnect 4. Ovo je Uconnect 5.

 

Trebali bi se nalaziti u svim budućim novim kao i MCA modelima FCA. Mijenja i Uconnect 4 i Alfa 3D Connect.

Premijera na električnom Fiatu 500.

Sada je Alfa Connect 3D koji može imati sufiks NAV što je u slučaju onoga sa navigacijom. Riječ je Giorgio 2.5 hardveru. Ima dobar dio funkcija što će imati novi sustav no koliko sam upoznat nema Firmware On The Air Upgrade. Npr. već može imati SIM, koriste se widgeti, itd.

 

I još nešto, doduše možda bude više toga. Novi sustav se zove Uconnect 5 ali nema ništa sa starim Uconnectom osim imena. Ovaj je na Android Automotive OS-u dok je Uconnect 4 na QNX-u, a Alfa Connect 3D na GENIVI-u.

 

Razvoj softvera je dobrim dijelom Harman i interno se zove Harman/FCA R1. Razvoj sigurno od 2016. ako ne i ranije. Naravno da će biti više dobavljača hardvera, Harman i Mitsubishi su vjerojatno tek prvi u nizu.

 

Vjerujem da će se sada napokon vrtiti i navigacija na digitalnim instrumentima. Biće raznih verzija od klasičnog formata 10.1" do wide screen 12.4" koje spremaju za Alfu i Maserati.

 

U svakom slučaju ovo uklanja sve nedostatke koje su do sada imali.

 

I još sam nešto zaboravio. Ne mogu se sada sjetiti.

Sjetio sam se.

U vezi glasovnih naredbi koriste Amazon Alexu. Mislio sam da će biti Google Assistant. Svakako je bolje nego da razvijaju svoj sustav kako radi konkurencija pa loše radi. FCA nije Daimler pa da im novinari zatvaraju oči na te stvari.
